The high priestess of Anarchy, Emma Goldman was a staunch anarchist and political activist. Emma was born in 1869 in Kovno, Lithuania. Kovno was then part of the Russian Empire, a place where Emma’s family experienced significant hardship due to rife antisemitism and poverty. After emigrating to the United States, Emma became well known due to her unrelenting pursuit of justice for workers and women.
